Kikkan Randall, 35, was the only mother on the U.S. Olympic team at the Pyeongchang Winter Games, where she and teammate Jessie Diggins became the first American cross country skiers to win Olympic gold. That was February. Then, in June, Randall was diagnosed with breast cancer. And now, in October, for breast cancer awareness month, she tells her story to USA TODAY Sports reporter Erik Brady.
