The race season begins in two weeks and that means I have just a few more days left at home before I hit the road. I've been super busy finishing up my last big training block of the prep period, as well as going on a few fun little escapades with family and friends. It's been a wild few months since my last ski race and after a long period of hard work, I'm getting really excited to see what gains I've made. To prepare for the upcoming Winter Olympics that are now just 1.5 years away, I have joined my fellow US National teammates in Whistler, BC for a 10 day dryland camp. We will be training daily at the 2010 Olympic venue, making it our home away from home. For updates from the camp Click Here

Just in time for the upcoming summer Olympics, Subway of Alaska recently wrapped up production for a new round of commercials featuring me. In one of the commercials, the theme is "absolute freshness" and features a re-creation scene of my wedding. Look for the new commercials on TV soon!!
I just got down off of Eagle Glacier for our second APU on-snow camp of the summer. It hardly seemed like summer up there, with night-time temperatures below freezing, fresh snow flurries and powder snow conditions. 10 days out from my last procedure to clear the blood clot in my left leg, doctors discovered the clot had reformed and I had to go back into the hospital for more procedures. Read the full story
